I lerve Tegan and Sara!
ReplyDeleteYes! So lovely.
DeleteNothing, fortunately. But I'm listing to the radio, so an earworm might get stuck any moment now. ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt's always a matter of time... :)
DeleteWhat a collection of tunes!
ReplyDeleteThat Gotye song always gets stuck in my head, and World Cafe just posted an interview with him.
There was a period of about 3 days the other week when I found myself humming that song - I'm not kidding - EVERY WAKING MOMENT. People at work were giving me weird looks, Sara nearly kicked me out of the house... it was bad. :) I do so love it though. Now off to check out that interview!
DeleteThat song's been stuck in my head for a couple of weeks. I heard it first as a clip from Glee, so I've always pictured Matt Bomer singing it. Until now. That's a pretty sweet music video.
DeleteYay music! Gotta love Adele. And I love Flight of the Conchords, but I could never get into their series. It felt too structured and polished for me. Lovelovelove their live shows though, and that is one of my favorite songs.
ReplyDeletePre-series Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbbxA8a_M_s
(Business Time is also ridiculous-funny)
Ohhh, yes, they're so good live! (Well - I haven't seen them personally but, y'know, via the YouTubes). :) I got into the series when my sister-in-law was hugely pregnant and we were all baby-giddy and needed something kind of insane to watch to match the mood. So I will always associate them with my niece, which, now that I say that out loud, is pretty funny.
DeleteAmazingly, nothing. Wow. Seems some little ditty is always writhing about in there but at the moment, nada.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all of the tunes -- the songs a person loves say so much about them -- and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Thanks Suze! Hope yours was lovely as well. :)
DeleteThanks for sharing. Some of these are new to me. I just love music!
ReplyDeleteYay!
DeleteAdele's voice always blows me away. Such a talent - hoping she doesn't go the way of so many huge talents....
ReplyDeleteOh, fingers crossed. From a distance she seems to be doing alright, anyway...
