I see the notion of talent as quite irrelevant. I see instead perseverance, application, industry, assiduity, will, will, will, desire, desire, desire.

I like this quote. I'll have to keep it in mind when I get frustrated while learning to play the ukulele. I don't like the learning stages, I just want to pick it up and sound like Eddie Vedder:)
ReplyDeleteI like this quote too and probably need to post it somewhere. Mainly because when I have been talking about careers (especially creative ones) people can be quite dismissive and think its talent. Yet non-creative careers they dont even consider thinking that it cant be learned.
